The sweet potato fries were crisp on the outside and tender and fluffy on the inside and their house made ranch dipping sauce was very tasty. The burger was delicious and definitely not your typical fast food burger. My burger was more medium them medium well and I was just fine with that. The menu says their 1⁄3 pound Niman Ranch patties are cooked medium well (a little pink inside when served) to order. They have an awesome, large patio at the front of the building that is pet friendly, but also have a ton of seating inside and a bar. Then when it buzzes you grab your food at the pick-up counter. You order at the register, you get your drinks and a buzzer. The beef is grass fed from Niman Ranch, the chicken is organic from Mary’s Free Range Chicken, the Seafood is from Osprey Seafood, all of the produce is from Greenleaf and all of the baked gods are from Panorama Bakery. What makes Gott’s truly worth the prices is their commitment to using the best ingredients. Gott’s is a casual eatery, with mostly double-digit price burgers that are a notch up from fast food quality yet I wouldn’t consider them to be gourmet. So when we met our daughter at the Ferry Building at the Embarcadero in San Francisco and I saw a Gott’s Roadside I knew we needed to eat there.
